Mike’s Club – Support groups for bereaved children, teens and their families 

We offer separate groups for children and parenting adults coping with death related loss. The children process their grief through activities, arts and crafts, and games, with the help of trained support staff. Pizza and drinks provided. Groups meet every other week. (Ages 5-18) These groups are led by trained, Hope Floats Staff, Clinicians and Volunteer Facilitators. Now taking registrations for the fall sessions: contact Denise Brack at 781-585-4221 ext3

Family Night for Children and Their Families who have experienced the loss of a sibling, parent/caregiver or grandparent: Wednesday, 6-7:15 next date TBA

Join us at Hope Floats for our family night. Pizza dinner will be served. All families are invited to work together with on a fun family art project. Mike's Club - Support group for children, teens & their families dealing with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, Sunday, September 15, 3-4:30

A free monthly support group and education program for children, teens and their families who have a member of their household (parent, sibling, etc.) dealing with cancer or other life limiting illness. Pizza will be served and then creative expression and group discussion are utilized to help children access their feelings, connect with other children and feel supported. Pregnancy, Infant and Toddler Loss Bereavement Group for Parents

This peer led group is open to any parent coping with the death a child at any stage of pregnancy or the death of an infant.  These are peer led groups; the facilitators are also parents who have lost a child.  Fall dates TBA. Child Loss Bereavement Group for Parents

This peer led group is open to any parent coping with the death of a child of any age. These are peer led groups; the facilitators are also parents who have lost a child. Ongoing Suicide Loss Bereavement Group

This peer led group is for anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide. The group meets every other Monday from 6:30-8:00.  9/9, 9/23, 10/7, 10/21, 11/4, 11/18, 12/2 and 12/16. Grief In Action

This discussion group about activism is for parents who have lost a child to overdose and would like to talk about activism around the opioid crisis. Facilitated by Tony LaGreca and held once per month. Mondays, 4-5:30. October 7, November 4, December 2. This group led by trained, Hope Floats Peer Volunteer Facilitators. Just for Dads: Support Group for Dads who have Lost a Child

This new monthly offering is for Dads who have lost a child for any reason. A casual get together, sit around the fire, gathering. Thursdays, 6:30-8:00. Fall dates TBA. Sibling Loss for Young Adults

Holistic Cancer Retreat: Sunday, September 28, 9-4:30

If you have recently been impacted by a cancer diagnosis, please join us at Hope Floats for a day of rest and renewal created especially for you.
Enjoy a gentle yoga class, group support, a nourishing noon meal as well as varied holistic treatments.  Our gifted practitioners, facilitators and volunteers will offer you a nurturing space to find an oasis of comfort and ease as you navigate this challenging time. "I'm Right Here!" How our loved ones in spirit communicate through signs

Thursdays, Sept. 26, Oct. 10 & Oct. 24, 6-7:30.

With Teresa Lally & Maryellen Hunter. In this workshop series, we will introduce/expound upon the idea that our loved ones in spirit are always around us, aware of everything going on in our lives and wanting to comfort and communicate with us by sending signs on a regular basis. We will explore and discuss what these many signs may be and how we can become more open and attuned to receiving them. There is no charge for this group. What Can I Do? Supporting a bereaved family member or friend

Anyone who has had a family member or friend experience a significant loss has asked this question. This support group will help offer guidance around what you can do or say to help them as well as offer a space for you to share your own feelings. Pet Loss Bereavement Group

Friday, September 13, 6:30-7:30. Our animals bring us so much joy and unconditional love. They are our companions, our friends, our family. When we lose a beloved pet, we lose a piece of our hearts. This support group gives all who are dealing with such a loss a safe place to share; to honor both the grief they feel and the memory of their beloved companion.This group led by trained, Hope Floats Peer Volunteer Facilitators. Retreat for Parents who have Lost Children

Saturday, 9-4:30

Please join us for a relaxing and healing retreat just for parents who have lost children. Relax with meditation, stretching & breathing exercises and mini-healing treatments given by our certified and talented practitioners. There is also time for group discussions, exploring the peaceful grounds and labyrinth and a nourishing  lunch. This retreat is an opportunity to take care of yourself and meet other moms. We gain so much from sharing and being with others who understand the difficult road we are on. This group led by trained, Hope Floats Peer Volunteer Facilitators. Retreat for Parents Who Have Lost Children to Overdose
