The holiday season isn’t always as merry as we want it to be and it’s normal to feel apprehensive about it. You’re not alone in feeling that way. Holidays can be a very difficult time for you if you’ve experienced the death of a loved one.
The first step in coping with grief at the holidays is to acknowledge that the holiday season is difficult. In this presentation, Gary will offer compassionate and practical tips on how to navigate your way through the maze of grief during the holiday season.

A walk to remember our loved ones.

Rain Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026

Registration begins at 8:30 am. Walk begins at 10 am.

The 5K walk will start at 10 am at Hope Floats, 4 Elm Street, Kingston, MA. Join us after the walk for food, vendors, and raffles. We look forward to seeing you all again to walk in memory of your loved ones!

TEAMS ARE WELCOME! Walk as a team to honor you loved one. You must have at least 4 walkers to be a team. The team with the most walkers will be given the opportunity to lead the walk from Hope Floats and will receive a Hope Floats Memory Brick!

Become a champion and create your own team page to fundraise! Please visit the “team information section” for instructions!

Please ask family and friends to sponsor your walk! We are also looking for raffles, wine donations, and gift card donations! Donations make such a difference towards helping us provide free support services to those in need.

The children process their grief through activities, arts and crafts, and games with the help of trained support staff while any caregivers who lost their partner/spouse are welcome to join their own support group.

This group is for adults who have lost a parent or primary caregiver. This group is led by our Program Manager, Heather Gray.

Tuesdays, 5:30 – 7:00 pm in the Wellness Barn.

In true summer camp fashion, we will be having a field day! The Kingston Recreation Department will be coming out to assist in organized sports, games, and fun outdoor activities for kids of all ages! Kona Ice Truck will be bringing all different flavors of sweet, refreshing snow cones to enjoy during the evening! We will have additional arts & crafts available. While the children participate in their groups, we welcome parenting adults to participate in a peer-facilitated support group for those who have lost a partner or spouse. Pizza from the Kingston House of Pizza will be served!
