Ava is the Intake Coordinator as well as a Master’s Level Clinician at Hope Floats Healing and
Wellness Center. Ava began at Hope Floats as a Master’s Level Intern in January 2025 while
completing her internship experience in graduate school. She was drawn to intern at Hope
Floats as she was passionate about the organization’s mission of supporting individuals and
families who are grieving.

Ava holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Social Work and Social
Welfare from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Ava graduated from Bridgewater State
University in December 2025 with a Master’s of Education in Mental Health Counseling.
In her role as Intake Coordinator, Ava works with individuals and families interested in individual
counseling and support group services at Hope Floats. She works to share information about
our services as well as initiates the intake process for support services.

As a Master’s Level Clinician, Ava recognizes each client brings their unique experiences and
strengths into the therapeutic process. Ava aims to adapt her approach to each individual, using
her knowledge in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to
support clients.
