Elaine’s Message is Massage. Her knowledge, experience, and sensitivity, will create a treatment for you that will be based on what you need that day. This could be relaxation, deep tissue, focusing on certain areas, incorporating CranioSacral and or Reiki.
Elaine’s belief is that the body was meant to be healthy. Through awareness of one’s body, professional help and self-care the body can and will heal. Whether from injuries, accidents, or stress our bodies will signal us through pain and /or dis-ease that we need to do something differently. Massage brings awareness to the body, increasing circulation, flushing and releasing through the fascia, muscle tissue, lymphatic, and nervous systems, to decrease pain. At the same time bringing greater relaxation to the mind, peace to the spirit and a more complete feeling of wellness.
Elaine turned to massage for relief from neck and shoulder pain from spending over a decade working in an office. It was so helpful that she was inspired to become a massage therapist herself. Graduating in 1998 from Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Ma, she is a member of National Certified Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) since 1999, Usui Shiki RYPHO in Reiki, holds a certificate in the Upledger Institute Program for CarnioSacral Therapy, and graduated from Finding Inner Peace Yoga Program, as a certified instructor. Elaine brings her many skills to give each person a treatment tailored to their specific needs. She loves working with people and being a part of their healing journey. Reflexology is a holistic therapy using thumbs and fingers to stimulate reflexes on the feet or hands. It addresses all the body’s systems, glands and organs, opens neural pathways, and releases energy blockages, thereby eliminating physical and emotional toxins and balancing the body. It is relaxing and therapeutic. 60 minutes.
AROMATOUCH® TECHNIQUE & REFLEXOLOGY
AromaTouch® Technique is the application of essential oils along the spine and energy meridians on the back to achieve overall wellness. Eight essential oils are applied in sets of two and in specific order: The first 2 oils are applied for relaxation; the second set is used for immune support; the third set combats chronic inflammation; the last set is a catalyst to drive all the oils in deeper, bringing balance to the body. Followed by Reflexology performed on the feet. 75 minutes
“SYMPHONY OF THE CELLS” & REFLEXOLOGY
“Symphony of the Cells” was created by doTerra’s Boyd Truman to establish balance and harmony within the body and has been approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. It is a system of applying various combinations of ten essential oils along the spine to be absorbed into the cerebrospinal fluid. There are specific protocols to address inflammation, hormonal balance, or issues in the digestive, respiratory, or neurological systems. Followed by Reflexology performed on the feet. 75 minutes
